about me

great design starts with connection - lets get to know eachother

I live in a wee village on the east coast of Scotland. I have a busy family life with two unruly boys, and my soon-to-be husband (who could be considered the third unruly boy), plus a very fluffy cat called Otis.

As a family, we love going to Belladrum Festival in the Highlands every year, and this year my fiancé and I will be getting married in the wee chapel there. We can't wait to bring all our friends and family together for a big celebration at our favourite place!

I studied art and design and knew I was destined to create art in some way. While I've worked in other fields since then, I've always brought a creative flair to everything I do, leaving my fingerprint on branding, websites, or marketing materials wherever I go.

For the last 8 years, I've had a keen interest in digital art and design, producing colorful digital illustrations and custom digital portraits of family members, dogs, and homes—all lovingly sold on my Etsy shop and at creators' markets. Through projects for friends and family, I've found myself designing logos and branding elements, and I absolutely love it! The more I learn about how a strong visual identity can impact a business's success, the more passionate I become about learning more.

My vision for Marmalade Design is to build a loyal list of lifelong customers whom we can guide through their visual and creative journeys. We'll watch their businesses flourish, celebrate their wins, and help them problem-solve through the challenges. Along the way, we'll grow our team and expand our expertise across different areas.

Just like the perfect batch of marmalade, great design needs the correct balance of creativity and strategy - and that’s exactly what I bring to the table, if this resonates with you then please get in touch and lets create something as vibrant and authentic as you are.
